Program Overview
The Reading Crossroads Reading Intervention Curriculum provides science-based afterschool reading interventions to address individual students’ gaps in foundational skill areas including phonological awareness and phonics. Using research-based instructional methods and modern gamification techniques, this intensive afterschool reading program is hands-on, engaging, and effective for students.
All Reading Roadmap programs align with a school’s existing MTSS/RTI interventions, ensuring easy implementation and monitoring. They’re also 100% screen-free!
About The Reading Intervention Curriculum
- Supports a five-day a week, 30-minute high-dosage tutoring session with an eight-to-one student to tutor ratio
- Each curriculum supports up to 50 students simultaneously
- Designed specifically for afterschool with fun games and hands-on, movement-related activities
- 56-skill specific interventions based on the Science of Reading
- Individual skill gaps targeted and supported through an embedded diagnostic tool or through partner school’s existing assessment and reading diagnostic
- Continuous progress monitoring and adjustment based upon student results
- Program fidelity tracker to ensure high-quality program implementation
- 5-Day Lesson Plans (3- and 4-day plans available upon request at no extra charge)
